Khoji Dog Center provides tracking dog service in Dalbandin, the main town of Chagai district in western Balochistan, on the long N-40 road between Quetta and the Iran border at Taftan. The town stands in open desert with a few oasis farms around it.
Where a khoji dog helps in Dalbandin
- Following a trail after a theft from a shop, house or vehicle.
- Searching for a person missing from the town or the desert tracks.
- Tracking from a vehicle taken toward the highway.
- Searching open ground near the road for a lead.
The desert is empty for many kilometres, with strong wind and sand that erase tracks within hours, and sandstorms can stop a search completely. If a storm is blowing, say so on the first call and give the time it began. Distances are very long, so tell us honestly where you are.
Give us the nearest landmark, the time and the details of the person or vehicle. Keep your phone charged. If anyone is in danger, call the police on 15 first, then call Khoji Dog Center on 03010054431, at any hour.
