Khoji Dog Center provides tracking dog service in Kohlu, a hill district in eastern Balochistan between Barkhan, Dera Bugti and Sibi, with dry mountains, valleys and small settlements spread far apart. Roads are few and long.
Where a khoji dog helps in Kohlu
- Following a trail after a theft from a shop, house or camp.
- Searching for a person missing in the hills or a valley.
- Tracking from livestock or a vehicle taken along a track.
- Searching dry streams and slopes for a lead.
Many settlements share similar names, so a clear landmark such as a well, a school or a valley name helps us place the call. The ground is dry and stony, and rain can fill a stream bed in minutes. A dog follows scent where eyes and marks fail.
Tell us the nearest landmark, the time and the details of the person or animals. If anyone is in danger, call the police on 15 first, then call Khoji Dog Center on 03010054431, at any hour.
