Khoji Dog Center in Quetta
Quetta is the capital of Balochistan, standing at about 1,680 metres in a valley ringed by mountains, with Jinnah Road, Sariab Road, Hanna Lake, Hazarganji and a large cantonment. Its bazaars sell dry fruit and goods from across the province and the border.
Where a khoji dog helps in Quetta
- Following a trail after a theft from a shop or house.
- Searching for a person missing from home, the city or the nearby hills.
- Tracking from a vehicle taken from a parking area or highway.
- Searching a warehouse or compound for a lead.
Winters are cold, with ice and snow, and summers are dry. Cold ground can hold scent differently from hot ground, but snow and rain cover a trail fast. The city's lanes are crowded, and many houses share walls, so a scene is small but easily disturbed. Roads to other districts are long, so tell us honestly where you are.
Give us the area, such as Sariab, Satellite Town or the cantonment, the nearest landmark and the time. Keep the door or vehicle closed and keep onlookers back.
Report serious crimes to the police on 15, then call Khoji Dog Center on 03010054431, answered at all hours, and we will explain plainly what can be arranged in Quetta.
